Managing my ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) presents unique challenges, but with the right strategies, individuals can improve focus, productivity, and overall well-being. Here are some my methods for managing ADHD effectively:

1. Behavioral Therapy: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps me identify and change negative thought patterns, I fill 20 diaries a year to write my train of thoughts and tens of stickers to reward myself , while behavior modification techniques reward positive actions and reduce impulsivity.

2. Medication: I use coffee and sone superfood with other methods to manage it

3. Organization and Routine: Establishing a structured environment with daily routines, to-do lists, and visual reminders helps individuals stay on track and minimize distractions.

4. Exercise: my favourite hobby and favourite stress buster. Regular physical activity boosts brain function and reduces hyperactivity. Activities like running, swimming, or yoga are particularly beneficial.

5. Mindfulness: Practicing mindfulness and meditation can improve emotional regulation, reduce stress, and enhance focus. Vippassna and breathwork do wonders for me

6. Sleep Hygiene: Consistent sleep patterns and creating a calming nighttime routine are essential for managing ADHD symptoms effectively. Whooh!! This is the single factor which do miracle in your life as did in my life.

I just read about a new treatment for ADHD adults, called TMF. I think that's what it was. It's uded for many other thin as well. It is where they place magnets at certian locationson your head and activate them. Supposed to stimulate the nerves that are not functioning properly, and get them to work correctly. Has anybody tried this?

Thanks for your response and sharing information about TMF. Hope this work for its users, I was not aware of this before.

DBT works better for me. My stratera is great to help my moods (as well as anxiety meds). My trazodone is amazing for my sleep, as melatonin doesn’t even help much. Meditation and mindfulness has been helpful, and so has exercise, but I definitely need to do it more.
