I work in an office setting, mostly independent style. We are going thru some changes and I am losing some of accommodations I was previously allowed because of this and no one knowing how much they helped. I searched for help getting ADA paperwork completed and submitted but I cannot find anything. Has anyone ever done this? This is the first job that been fully aware of my situation, informally at least and that person is gone.

Asking for Accommodation
I work for a state agency. Once I received my diagnosis, I wrote a letter to my supervisor explaining it and how it affects my abilities at work. My thought was that this is a preemptive action to avoid being fired down the road. The supervisor then gave me a letter and a copy of my job description to give to my doctor. The doctor in turn replied to the supervisor regarding any accommodations recommended at the workplace. So far, so good. But if you start to have issues with your new supervisor, you can contact EEOC.
