I wouldn't know how to deal with that, but I'm sure somebody somewhat has had a situation like that. So I googled it and found a Quora discussion about something like that.

The gist of it is that you can go to HR about getting a second opinion from another doctor.
Thank you , I called Sedwick the ones handling my medical leave and they sent me over what the doctors office fax and that paperwork that she accused me of messing with was sent from their office so there’s no way I could’ve sent it no way I could’ve touched it because they sent it
That's why they still use fax...a very outdated (and usually insecure*) technology. It's point-to-point transmission.
The only people who can usually interfere with faxed information are the sender and receiver.

*{Regular faxing could be vulnerable to a "man-in-the-middle" hack. It's extremely rare, but it can happen. Encrypted faxing exists, but isn't readily available for regular fax users like doctors offices.}
Suspicion is not proof. The NP ought to rethink their position. I worked in a hospital. The nurses and medical assistants have no qualms about confronting anyone getting near their fax machines. (Most of them knew that I was the IT guy...a few who didn't glanced at my ID badge before letting me into their work space.)
I feel so irritated. I don’t know if I should file a complaint talk to lawyer I was just left me hanging.
I'd definitely be irritated, too. (I am actually irritated that you've been treated like that and falsely accused of wrongdoing.)
Sure, there are some people who try to game the disability system (I don't know if they do the same with FMLA), but I don't think that most people would even consider doing so.
