I am looking for help with my ADHD. I have realized I really need people to help with my ADHD. I need coaching, available people to chat with for my anxiety and lack of motivation, and accountability. I used to have all this kind of when I was married. Once I lost my spouse and started my lien business I lost my ability to function well on todays modern society. Meds only take me so far and don’t really get me going. I really need an involved network of people. Like a AA thing but for ADHD. If there was a ADHD group and meetings I would go. I have found one but the timing is terrible and leader treats use in the group like kids. So that doesn’t work. Any way, if your looking for then same thing comment below or if you know where I can go find this kind of thing that would be awesome if you let me know.

it’s not free?

Why would it be?

Because AA and NA are free, so are NAMI's mental illness support groups, among others, so its not out of this world to think there could be a free peer support group out there. ADHD makes it hard for some folks to get and keep jobs, and there's a big stigma attached to it, so the more they need help, the less likely they are to be able to afford it.

I cant think of anything that is actually free. lol

but, its maybe $5 per group or you can get a year long membership.

well that is very reasonable. I was thinking peer to peer. That’s seams like it would work really good. I would think someone with ADHD would be the best at coaching since the are super intelligent and know what the struggles are like. I would never expect coaching that only goes one way to Be free. It would have to be peer to peer. I think eventually I’ll get back on my feet. I am also dealing with a divorce, being wrongfully evicted, living in a camper in my parents back yard, becoming a single dad ever other week, running my own landscape and lawn care business out of my parents back yard, supporting my lost live from high school that was in a really bad place but now is in a good one, and trying to manage my new ADHD diagnosis that I didn’t know I had for the first 38 years of my life. All this happed in the last 2 years. I am sure by next spring or this winter I’ll be doing much better. I think all that would be hard even for a neurotipical person Handel.

Once I get some cash flow going agin I will be able to pay but I fell behind on my equipment payments to the note of $4,000. Or once I default and no longer need to make payments i hope I’ll have money again. Well when it rains it pours. I am just thankful I still have my daughter, my health, loving parents that let me live in there back yard, and i get a chance to make it all work out tomorrow.

I kind of feel like I am coaching myself right now. Lol.

Thank you all for your responses, I value the time and effort you all spent to help learn more about my options for treatment and

From one “Duke” to another keep the faith and heal; financial trauma is a trauma; coaches are great for objective feedback, but the same awareness is available from other ADHDers.

I love the pod cast "I have ADHD by Kristin Carder" She has a $200 a month group coaching program that I'm still on the fence about for some reason . . . but her free podcast has been very helpful!

Sending you lots of love, you're surely going through a lot. It would be nice if there was some app or website where we could match with someone with similar needs for accountability. Perhaps you could try to make posts here or Reddit/ADHD with your weekly goals until you find someone? All best
