Greetings, I know its been a while since I have last posted here, but lots of things have been a rollercoaster. Firstly I wanna say, 2021 was a horrible year for me. Losing someone I was close too and adjusting with my ADHD in a new role of independence I wasn't quite familiar with, and tbh am still learning certain things when it comes to financial stuff. But besides that point, I finally have a job at a local Dunkin Donuts where after so many years of being told I couldn't work because of my disability have finally been able to maintain one for the past 4 months. Though admittedly ADHD has made some things a challenge for me, such as learning things slower than my Coworkers, which everyone there is very okay with!
Secondly I am going to be returning back to college to start a degree in someone I want to get good in, which is Graphic Design, Photography and Game Design. However I have a learning disability, but am willing to take the challenge in doing so. And my next step is to learn how to drive after getting my permit a couple years ago! Anyone here have experience with driving while having ADHD? Is it impossible or are there obstacles I need to know to overcome beforehand? Because I have inattentive, but admittedly things have gotten somewhat better for me as when I turned 28 my mind seems to have developed a bit more mentally. Is that true our minds develop later than most?
What are so misconceptions about ADHD you want to articulate, that are often spread? I figured I'd give a short update.
