Nervous about getting a job

Hey, I am considering getting a job during the summer and taking the summer off in regards to college. My parents and I both feel that I need the experience. But I’m nervous. My friend Katie told me that when she first started working she was so nervous and that she got thrown into the mix because they wanted to see how she’d handle that type of environment. That freaks me out, when I’m in uncomfortable situations, I tend to run and hide. And I am shy. So I’m worried about how I’m gonna do. And I feel like even though I know how to handle ADHD, there are still times I struggle and I feel sad and frustrated about that.

Hiya Anne gables,sweet message.i think you'll do just fine.Thinl of it as a new experience where you will have monet that YOUVE earned in your back pocket.To conquer your shyness and initial nerves,you could maybe try voluntary work for a couple weeks where you would learn priceless skills and they will ease you in.The confidence that will give you is massive and it will bring you out of yourself.Or you could go part time.Im sure that you will love it.go for it kiddo.
