I'm new here, but I thought it would be a good place to gather ideas. I have ADHD and I recently have decided to pursue a career in advocacy and support for kids with ADHD, their families, and their schools.
The world of education has changed so much since Covid and while those changes may work really well for some, I know many students will struggle to keep up. I want to provide support for teachers who want to reach out to their neuro-atypical students, for those students, and for their parents.
Considering this, I am thinking of getting a Masters in Education in instructional design or learning theory - perhaps with a focus on serious games and edutainment.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm a bit nervous as this would be a big life shift for me and any advice is welcome.
