I'm new to HealthUnlocked. Looking for a ADHD support group. Hoping to establish a n Adult Support Group, near Huntsville Alabama. I have a theory that ADHD adults physically meeting together could open some awareness about the difficulties the non ADHD people have with getting close to a ADHD person. I hope it is possible for an ADHD person to identify with (like behaviors) that they experience..when identified in another ADHD adult. Anyone have any experience with the socialization issue between 2 two ADHD adults.????
I'm read a book on ADHD adults. One of the chapters is on self awareness.. It seems the ADHD persons have little or no self awareness of their behavioral impact on others.
Please contact me if your interested in discussing this matter.
Looking forward to communication.

I'm not in a group, but have wondered if creating one here locally would be a good idea. I've been a part of support groups in the past and find them incredibly helpful.
I’m no where near as I live in Washington State but I’m absolutely desperate to find support and connect with others who live with and care for adults with ADHD/ADD! My husband has ADD and I’m losing my mind! I’d love to connect with others online or on the phone. I need to find people who know what I’m going through. Please help!
