I live in Maryland, and being outside has always made me feel better than being in the house.
Did you know how much of a positive impact the sun has on us? Ya know, with all of its vitamin D n such.
And it's obvious that water and sunlight are extremely vital for life on earth, so why does that seem to have become so underrated? Plants need water, nutrition, and lots of sunlight to grow...sooo doesn't it makes sense for humans to get plenty of that stuff too?
You might think I'm comparing apples and oranges here, but aren't we very similar to plants? - and no, I'm not high-
It just makes things so much clearer to understand, and it makes the challenge of living healthier easier than ever before!
I now make it a point to not just drink water when I'm thirsty, but to stay hydrated. I try to drink at least 8oz of water, in 1-2 hour intervals.
Just by keeping my body hydrated, and spending more time in the sun, I've managed to feel better and look at life differently.
Thanks for reading. I hope all of this makes sense, and I pray that my 2 cents can at least help ONE person benefit from reading any of my tips of being a happier you. Cheers! 🤗

I totally agree with you. My son has ADHD and he says that being outside on a sunny day makes him feel good and happy. Fortunately, we live in Southern California so it’s always sunny here. I admire your positivity.
I envy that! 😊 I have family in San Diego and I enjoy each day to the fullest while I'm there during visits. We certainly have beautiful days here in the East, but it's very hit or miss due to our high humidity, hurricanes, and mosquitos in the summer. Then the cold and snow in the winter..which end up keeping me inside more than I'd like. One day I hope to be out west, but I'll just have to wait and see what life has in store for me in the future! 😁
I’ve never really liked water so I tend to stay dehydrated most of the time....yes, I realize how unhealthy this is. Lol. You bring up a good point though because I definitely feel better physically when I drink a good amount of water. I just realized within the past year that when my shoulders and neck feel tense (sometimes causing nausea and/or my palms to sweat), I feel so much better after a day or two of drinking a ton of water.
I’ve never paid attention to the mental effects of being dehydrated, but I bet you’re onto something. I just bought a house and I’ve been considering getting a filtration system installed in the main water line because the city water is treated with chemicals to make it drinkable but I like the idea of the chemicals being filtered out to make it healthier, and I really like the idea of not ever having to clean water spots from the sediments left behind in the shower, sink, water dispenser on the refrigerator, etc.
The systems are pretty pricey so I’m still on the fence about it but if I have one installed, I’ll pay attention to my ability to focus after consistently drinking it for a few weeks and I’ll respond to this post
It's funny you mention getting a water filtration system, because that's one of the first things I plan to have installed once I buy my first home! Clean filtered water is essential to our health and skin. I even look at it as pro-aging to my skin after I shower, since I've seen what it can do to my faucets, car paint, etc.. I can just imagine what it's doing to our skin!
Full disclosure....the hair and skin aspect of the system are initially what made me want one. My friend sells them here in Houston and she’s shown me what a huge difference it makes on multiple levels. She literally doesn’t have to use lotion anymore because the chemicals used to treat our water is filtered out from the system she sells. The systems are so expensive though. Luckily, I won’t need the biggest one but I definitely need to invest in one soon because the water at my new house had a slight flavor that’s similar to the bug spray, Off. Lol
