A book recommendation for ADHD adults: FOCUSED FORWARD: Navigating the Storms of Adult ADHD by James M. Ochoa, LPC

I recommend it for adults who are now learning how to cope with their ADHD.

I learned about Mr. Ochoa’s work through the ADHD Awareness Expo, an on-line ADHD webinar series posted in October (and it looks like it may still be available for viewing). My library did not have the book, but through a library co-operation program, I was able to sign the book out. It provides very good methods for dealing the the emotional issues available from living with ADHD.

This book is also available from Amazon (link: amazon.com/Focused-Forward-....

The book is recommended by both Edward M. Hallowell, M.D., author of Driven to Distraction, and also by Sari Solden, MS, LMFT, author of Women with Attention Deficit Discorder & Journeys Through ADDulthood. (Both authors books recommended by me too).

I hope this book helps others as much as it is helping me.

Thank you for the book recommendation. It sounds like a good read and one from which I could benefit. I did try the local library, which did not have it". Surprise, surprise!!! But I will pursue their getting a copy from another library. I will reply back to you when I read it and let you know what benefits I have found. Thank you for your kindness in sharing this info.
