I just started this book, but thought a quick review might be in order. The CBT Book For Adult ADHD guides us through what it means to have ADHD, it’s causation, and some great examples of exercises to help us deal with our neurotypical brain. These exercises are based on the CBT (Cognitive Brain Theory) system.
I read the comments daily from folks who are newly diagnosed and feel lost, frustrated, and downright angry with themselves because of their ADHD. I've also read my share of comments of those of us who are truly confused about what a diagnosis means. And, for that reason, I recommend you head over to your Amazon account and get this book.
I was formally diagnosed around 2 years ago, and this book is helping me immensely.
