I just wanted to wish everyone a calm and stressful start to the new school year. It's is hard for us and our children to get back in to the routine of the new year, but in a few weeks we will all be good.

Take care

Kianna started on August 6th. 1st day some how she was ready by 7:00 school starts at 7:30, we are literally about 3 minutes away. Great Job day 1. Since then she has been tardy every day. :( I wake her up between 5:20 tp 5:30. I have a feeling they are going to be hard on us to be on time.

So glad the first day went well. Hope she finds the desire to get better at being on time.

Good luck!

We start today. A New school year brings me so much anxiety. My fingers are crossed that all my fears are swept away by a teacher that gets it and will work with my boy. Good Luck Everyone!!!

My boy is going to a new school this year too. He seems excited about the change. I too wish for a teacher that will connect with my son.

Omg I get it! I think we have a good teacher this year. I’m so thankful for that. Are you guys doing ok? Teacher a good fit?

Well best wishes to all. I am terrified about the new year! Although this will be our first full year with meds so hopefully will make it easier.

All my free time in the evenings will be gone. The piles of homework will be coming home. There will be frustration and arguments over work he cannot get through. I'm so anxious thinking of all of the stress related to his schooling.

Well it is the end of day 3 and for the most part things are going well and then this AM my phone rings and the school is calling me ( my heart always sinks becuase I can't imagine how bad the call will be) so I pick up and they say "your son was stung by a wasp". Out son told us he was playing basketball ball and there was a wasp nest on the back of the hoop and it flew down and stung him..

REALLY!

Glad he is ok, but a scare for me when the phone rings.

I'm sure he is the only kid ever sung on campus ground! Mine..

Take care thinking of everyone.. the weekend needs to arrive soon.

This made me smile and laugh. The laugh part was me thinking about how I jump at my phone ringing while my son is away at school and more recently at summer camp. I truly love how awesome we have to be to get through what we get through.

Wow! This is funny, but not funny. Hope he is better now.

My son started the 8th grade Wednesday and I have been giving him 5mg meletonion early so he has been falling asleep before 10:30 and waking up alot easier

Thanks for letting us know how it is going and that Melatonin is working for you. We also use it to assist with sleep. We are heading into week 2 a "real week" so the honeymoon is over.

Good luck!
