Morning Walk

Took an annual leave day today as it’s hubby’s birthday. So before presents, birthday cake and breakfast, we went out for a lovely sunny walk, exploring a route around our village that is a newly appointed public footpath, and it was lovely!

Views over the village, fishing lakes, distant Victorian follies and sight of the edges of the Peak District. Lovely old Victorian railings, icehouses and farm houses.

Then we came back to birthday cake for breakfast!

Happy walking!
