I'm trying not to see this as a failure, but more of a inevitable action. I've extended my final Lord of the Rings challenge for another month, as it's pretty clear that I'm not going to complete it in the time that I had originally alloted for it.
I'm seeing this as vital self-care, what was one respiratory viral infection after another and the subsequent long covid that hits me, coupled with the absolutely diabolical weather for the last couple of months there's just no point in putting myself under any more pressure.
I'll just keep on going as best as I can πΆπΆπΆ

The amount you've achieved so far is amazing. Life gets in the way, respiratory infections and long COVID are part of life. We are all so proud of what you've already achieved and love reading your posts, what's another month? Spring and hopefully good health will get you there xx
Thank you for kind words. I'm doing my best to try and stay positive. I'm back at the GP next week as I am completely congested once again, coughing like a drain - especially at night, on my knees with fatigue, and just generally feeling low.
I'm under the Long Covid team now, but to be honest it's not teaching me anything I don't already being a counsellor in my day job, helping people with long term health problems to manage as best they can. Still, it's all there is, and has actually given me a lot of insight into how things which are non-physical can tie you out just as much, if not more than physical things.
As I'm sure I've said before, I have a lot to think about and as things don't really seem to be improving for me, those choices maybe have to be made sooner rather than.
Ho-hum - despite all this, I am grateful that I can do far more than some poor souls, and I'm doing my best to focus on this, rather than the things I can't do.
