I think I've got the numbers right...
Stretching it a bit in all kinds of ways...
Firstly, this wasn't even supposed to be much of a walk, it was a run. I carefully planned my route for 5K. This was in a new part of the Five Pits Trail for me.... and I badly miscalculated as not only did I do my warm up walk, I ran 6K and then thought I'd have a warm down walk.... which required a few more kms than I had envisaged! Still, it was a lovely and interesting walk and I am mighty glad I chose the anti-clockwise way round. So that fits Magical Mystery
Whispering trees... well very quiet as there wasn't a lot of wind. Most of the whispering happened in the exposed sections where the beech hedges rustled. And a bullfinch did more than whisper in the trees.
Rain - yes it did, just a tinkly little rather joyous bit.
The photo is of one of the hedges where there is a little blossom out and the promise of so much more.
