Göran Winblad’s 10min rule works for walking, as well as running!

Just wanted to drop a brilliant little video on here, to help us all get out there for our daily walks (or runs), especially on days when the weather looks quite uninviting.

But once dressed and cozy and over the 5cm threshold, you’ll be glad to have gotten out there.

This is the 10 min rule, which basically says, just promise yourself to head out there for a 10 min walk or run, and once out there, you are fine.

I love this little clip by Göran Winblad, which has motivated me plenty times to get my shoes on and step over the biggest gremlin of them all, the 5-10cm threshold of one’s own house-door!

Happy walking, everyone!

This is SO true! Not just with walking/running/exercise, but with EVERYTHING! From doing the washing up, to doing your tax return, to having that "awkward" conversation: doing it/facing it is almost always much better than the negative thoughts that go before.

He puts it beautifully.

Thanks for sharing - let to a discussion with the youngest about "stuff".

LOVE this! Saw it posted on here a while back but had forgotten so thank you so much for reminding me 😀. I managed to cross the threshold yesterday morning and enjoyed a gentle 7k jog.
