Walking fasted and walking backwards

Well, I walked and jeffed a bit this morning, early on and on an empty stomach. So much better than after a meal!

And I explored again my backward walking, by doing a sort of backward jeffing: 1 minute forward, then 1 minute backward walking. And repeat.

Runkeeper kept my timing, and one song would be able to have 2 forward sections separated by on backwards walking one.

Whole outing was ca an hour.

My upper legs and glutes are feeling it, but my back felt great afterwards!

Some dog walkers laughed when they past me, but I was in my bubble.

For motivation, I put together a Spotify play list of songs all with a theme of backward walking. Some weird choices on there, as the theme pointed me to some songs that I had never heard of. But it kept me walking!

What fun and so good for you, backwards walking.

It was. The more I read about it, the more I’m astounded why we don’t see more people walking backwards …. Oh yeah, there is the we-have-eyes-only-in-front thing. 🤣🤣

Ha ha. Yes, someone else mentioned that song, and I might have to cave in and put it on my playlist. I’m German, you see, so don’t seem to get this kind of humour. 😉

Brilliant! 👏 I did some backward walking and jogging in my flat yesterday, it was fun! I’m not brave enough to try it outside yet 🙈 but maybe one day!

I had a thought just now…you should do a Monty Python Ministry of Funny Walks challenge 😄

I remember doing funny walks with G many years ago along with a couple of friends after we had left a nightclub…we were quite drunk and in good spirits so it was a very fun and enjoyable experience…in fact, I’d probably do backwards walking with G out in public, I reckon he’d be up for that!!

LOL Until recently I did quite regular some weird ankle warmups that might count for silly walks: healthunlocked.com/strength...

And

I think those could be eligible for the Ministry of Funny Walks?

🤣🤣🤣🤣
