Another early run this morning but not as early as ToothPickJafah or Jools2020 .I was out of the door at 06:30
To complete Week 3 run 3 on my C25k re run !
That was absolutely fine with no issues.
Absolutely ready for week 4.
Then as I have been doing during the heat I waited for early evening before going for my walk .
My usual route which is around 5100 steps (just over 4k)
I've averaged 8687 steps per day over the last 7 days so I'm happy if that's over 8
So, so far so good, my cardiologist is very happy with my progress and I'm certainly feeling the benefits of carrying less weight!, Which is still coming off !
Happy Running/Walking π

Iβm feeling very, very tired and my wee feet are really sore. Iβve ended up doing 16,309 steps today!
Iβll be taking it easy this weekend. My partner injured his knee running last week and canβt drive without pain so Iβll have weekend to myself. Will do yoga, stretching, and foam rolling my feet π£
Well done Ian on all those steps and completeing run 3 of week 3. Starting at 6.30 am is very wise in this warm weather.
I'm not going to parkrun tomorrow as I have been there for the last 5 weeks in a row, however, I intend to go a short 3K maintenance run at around 7.30 am.
That's my plan as well for tomorrow morning. Although I'm not sure if I will get out by 7.30My local parkrun in the woods is cancelled tomorrow due to a police investigation into a woman who disappeared 6 years ago and is now sadly presumed deceased. Quite unsettling and very sad...
brilliant! Well done for that number of steps! And yes, there are some βearly earlyβ birds out there running! π€£ (Iβm just βkind-of-earlyβ)
Yes, cooler will certainly help !I'm trying to keep over 8,000 but I'm also not beating myself up if I have a rest , this has/ is, a big change for me π
Well done Ian. So glad your progress is onwards and upwards. I have now shifted the best part of half a stone, and although I still have a way to go it's definitely making a positive impact on my health overall.
Keep up the good work, keep being an inspiration to me and many others π
