I haven't got a story to tell, but here is a place I have been walking for 40+years, with many dogs, and over the last few years run. This is a dew pond at the top of the South Downs, I've seen it in the summer empty and at the end of a wet winter full almost to the fence, in the distance the sea.

Lovely photograph WillowandSola, one for the album.

I find dew ponds a little mysterious…sometimes they’re there, then they’re not! Lovely view in the distance 🙂

Two “puddles” of water! Sounds like it turns into a natural endless pool in wet weather! Nice pic!
That is a beautiful place and the views to the sea are amazing.
It's a great spot isn't it? I loved the messages pinned on it during Covid. Always a friendly bunch dog walkers. We walk up there dog less but have lots of chats with dog and owner! Enjoy your week
What an atmospheric photo Willowandsola, with the sunshine and shadows. Nicely done!
