Just spent 2 days in Kent visiting in-laws. Near the hotel is a small shopping centre, with a carpark listed as having a scenic view! It used to be true as there’s a view west over the marshes of the Thames estuary…but recent builds have obstructed it somewhat.
Anyway…it’s a short walk with a chance of a good sunset at the end of it 😉
Monday: left it a little late as I forgot Kent is 15 minutes ahead (sunwise) of South Wales, so missed the sunset…but still a stunning clear sky with Jupiter and Venus visible. Walked to the bridge over the Thanet Way…then back around the main road to the car park.
Tuesday: Went out before the sunset…BUT…it was foggy, or actually more of a sea mist. So up to the bridge…and because it was lighter, down the footpath instead of the main road. Still some interesting views.
I confess obviously that these are (in fact most of my walks are…) more then 12 minutes…😬🤷🏻♀️🙄
So top row of pix from Monday…spot the planets in the top right photo…the rest are Tuesday Bottom left is an extreme zoom in to spot the pylons emerging from the mist…
