Hi Started this week! Doing well calorie counting filling my meal up with veg evening as not to go Hungary eat the wrong foods after tea! I have been out walking for excercise which gets my heart pumping at my own pace 5 days in week there & back! Is it Ok to have a rest day of excercise no reason really just like weekend to relax bath lie ins for the week ahead as I get up in mornings! I don’t work started doing BUM SQUATS like I did back in gym using KETTLE BALLS! On Monday just gone from you tube up on tv but as I’m still in my pjs I might as well carry on walking the same number of days after this weekend! I went on bike at home also but as I had a good walk heart pumping felt oh yer had plenty of excercise for that day at my own pace! But I promised well said I’ll do bum squats today Saturday Sunday rest but think it is looking like to day is rest aswell! Oh yeah I’ve had lunch n breakfast porridge healthy today! What do people reckon? Thanks

Sorry I could hardly follow any of that but it is o.k. to have a rest day or two. Any exercise is better than none and if you're really working hard at it you need some time off to recover.

Recommended that we do 150 minutes activity (such as brisk walking) a week. Most take this as half an hour 5x a week. However You can split the activity up to suit you. It’s good to have rest days, or to spend that day on a totally different activity.
