First walk 🙃

Hi everyone, I hope that your weekend is going well. I've made a start! I had a lovely walk but took it steady to start with because although I am really determined to improve my fitness I need to transform from hardly any activity to being really active slowly or I know that I could easily give up. Anyway the greatest journey starts with the first step and I took that step today. Only half a mile in total but I hope to steadily improve.

Hi, I have just done the first couch to 5K run day 1, week 1 (jog for 60 seconds inbetween walking on a repeat schedule), I nearly died lol! its not easy for anyone, i am at the top end of the normal BMI I was out of breath puffing and panting, there were older and bigger people overtaking me looking happy and i was crumbling with a bright red face. This exercise should have been easy. To cut a long story short i will give it a go again, slow steps ! that's the same for everyone, good luck onwards and upwards for us!!

Half a mile is great! Progress is slow and steady. Well done on starting - that's the hardest step.
