Last Week

We went to Whitby on holiday last week and one of our walks was on the Cinder Track from Whitby to Robin Hoods Bay. Its an old railway track so no hills, the views are marvelous. Over my whole holiday last week I walked 51 miles! which is my highest ever. Not bad for a 66 year old. ( that has its advantages too I used my bus pass to get back from Robin Hoods Bay!)

Mind you my feet are feeling a bit sore now so I'm resting for a couple of days.

OMG - I'm a bus passer too and no way could I walk 51 miles in a month, never mind a week! HUGE kudos to you! Very, very well done!

Awwww, I'm a Whitby girl at heart, my family come from there. I live in London now but have such a soft spot for that area. Well done on your 51 miles, you deserved that free sit down on the bus 😀

We did the same walk in June. But started in Robins Hood Bay and walked to Whitby. That old railway station cycle hire place was cute.

After we walked up to the Abbey then caught the bus back to Robins Hood Bay...

Beautiful walk...

I'd not heard of this track. It is going on my list of places to go, thank you!
