So my problem is that my therapist keeps telling me things to do but Im too depressed to do them (or have such a lack of motivation) then she gets frustrated with me. Does anyone else have this problem?

Maybe you just need a little more convincing that what she wants you to do will help you. Possibly.
Sounds like if she is your therapist.. maybe she should understand UR DEPRESSED, duh. Hey.. I think everyone has been down the same road ur on.I know I have. Did she forget that ur not there to swap recipes.Listen...all I can say is.. I get where ur at..maybe give this a whirl..if she gives ya a bunch of things to do..pick the hardest one first.do it.. the rest will feel like a piece of cake and u will be thrilled with yourself.If u cant do that..thats ok too. Just go at UR pace and try to make her understand u cant be rushed, otherwise the results wont be AS beneficial.

I understand - the lack of motivation for even getting out of bed can feel like a lead blanket - try to take things hour by hour if that is all you can do. Just try something.
What things has she suggested? Maybe she is not making the right suggestions or ways to get motivated. Have you considered another therapist?
