Hi,

How is everyone?

I’m struggling to sleep through at the moment, due to separation / divorce

I’m not currently at work because it’s the holidays and know this definitely doesn’t help even though I’m trying hard to keep busy.

My problem is lack of concentration and agitation I can’t settle to do anything.

Which in turn is heightening my anxiety levels.

Any tips greatly received, thank you.

Hi there

Any divorce or separation would drain you emotionally which would blow out your sleep pattern and concentration you have a lot on your mind at the minute it’s like your tired but your brain is not switching off with all the worry and stress of what your going through have you been to your doctor and spoke to them about your situation at all maybe if you start from there and then things will start to help you

Thank you for the advice, I know everything has to be confidential but haven’t felt like I wanted to bother doctors with this , when there are people with illness.

You are right my mind just doesn’t stop!

Hopefully once I can remove myself out of this situation

( even though I know I’ll go down before I pop up again)

Things should ease . Thank you for replying, hope you are ok .

You are going through a very difficult time. You need time to grieve the loss and to process all of the emotions. Keeping busy is good so you don't dwell on it, but don't push it all away, give yourself time to feel and heal. You will get through it. as far as sleeping better, try reading before going to bed, and not being on your phone or computer, it always helps me wind down and sleep better.
