I’m very depressed. I made some mistakes and now I’m paying the price. This is all my fault yet I can’t cope. It’s hard knowing I did this to myself.

Very depressed and it’s my fault
Hi 88cev88
Welcome to our friendly Community.
It sounds as though you're really beating yourself up about something that's important to you.
There are medications that can lift depression, so have a think about chatting with your Dr, don't suffer if they can help.
We are always here to listen and chat, so please, if you feel you can open up, it may well help to get it off your chest.

We all make mistakes in life but we can also learn from them as well.
Your depression is not your fault. It's down to a chemical imbalance in your brain. Everyone makes mistakes, and that carries consequenses. But your mental health shouldn't be one of them.
As a thought experiment, what would you say to your sister or best friend if they made the same mistakes?
