Multiple Cysts on the Rectovaginal Wall. Any Advice Greatly Appreciated.

Hello,

I am female, 30yrs old, looking for any advice people may have.

I had a very large borderline tumour/cyst near/surrounding one of my ovaries which was removed in July 2022. Previous to this large cyst removal, I also had noticed a cyst near my vaginal opening which causes me discomfort, especially when on or coming up to my period. The surgeons where hoping this vaginal cyst may reduce after removal of the larger one as it was creating a lot of pressure. However it hasn't and now it has grown larger.

A recent MRI showed that it was multiple cysts that have joined together and are attached to the rectovaginal wall. The consultant I spoke to last, said that he would no longer advice or undertake surgery which I was hoping for to remove the cysts and I have now been referred back to my GP. The reason being is that surgery would come with a high risk of rectovaginal fistula.

So I am feeling a bit stuck really as the cyst has increased in size over the last year, I don't want to run the risk of fistula and I really don't want to leave it as its effecting me physically, mentally and sexually.

Any advice, similar experiences or alternative treatments would be greatly appreciated.
