iv had thrush on and off for 2 years now clears up and then comes back my partner has been treated I have had tested all under the sun for everything but just keeps coming back with high thrush Iv seen a gynaecologist 3 times am on fluconazole and it just doesn’t work at all it’s so uncomfortable and it’s really getting me dow and it’s effecting my relationship I hate this so much

I’m so sorry, I’ve experienced it myself and empathise.

After thorough testing to rule out any other possible cause you must be feeling very frustrated.

It’s possible…that you may need a higher dose, or a different medication, even though Fluconazole is generally first choice.

You probably have information re this medication ..but just in case there’s something you haven’t read.

my "thrush" for a few years was properly diagnosed as lichen sclerosis somewhat late.Ask for a dermatologist /menopausal specialist referral just in case. 🙏
