rectal bleeding

I been having a little rectal bleeding and freaking out, it happened 2 times this week only when I pass my bowels. anyone else ever have this

I’ve had this myself, I had investigation and it turned out the bleed was non specific and probably caused by straining and haemorrhoids. I was advised to drink more water…and not allow myself to be constipated.

But.a relative has recently had rectal bleeding, had investigation and was found to have a ‘polyp’ in his intestine. He needed surgery to remove it, and is waiting for results after it has been examined.

Had similar some years back. Turned out to be proctitis (quite possibly auto immune) but 6 weeks with pessaries sorted it out. Fingers crossed for you

Please, get off the internet, and call a doctor and make an appointment. Either a gastroenterologist or a primacy care doctor. It may be nothing or it may be something. Only a doctor can tell you. Could be a hemmroid. Could be colon cancer. Could be ulcerative colitis. See a doctor. I guess I don’t understand the point of this forum at all.

Good evening, this is not just the internet, This board helps people like me with anxiety, of course I’m gonna get it checked out but also reaching out to other people helps people like me calm down alot, what is your thoughts on this board?

definitely get it checked out asap! As others have said, it may be nothing, but if you don't get it checked you won't know-IGNORANCE is NOT BLISS!! Early intervention is the way forward. Do it today!
