Presbyopia

My mother has started to show signs of presbyopia very recently. She has difficulty seeing things up close now. So I'd like to know what'd be the right treatment that she could receive for her condition if anyone knows more about this.

The right treatment to receive for presbyopia would be a new procedure called KAMRA inlay. This is a new treatment that has been approved in recent years. You wouldn't even have to wear glasses anymore. The method involves implanting a ring into your eye's cornea. The KAMRA inlay is smaller and lighter than a contact lens ( avantlasikspa.com/kamra-inlay/ ). This would definitely help patients to overcome presbyopia and restore their near vision without affecting their long-distance vision. Well you know, KAMRA inlay works similarly to a camera. That is by creating a pinhole effect which helps in minimizing the amount of light entering your eye, thus increasing your near vision. So, the KAMRA inlay seems to be the ideal solution for presbyopia now.
