Hi

Can anyone please advise do I keep everol 50 patch on when on tablets or remove trying to talk to my doctor is a nightmare

Hi....out of interest did it give you insomnia...it did me so had to stop..i found the everel conti the best no side effects no weightgain ..but sadly i cant use it now due to thickning of uterus wall..so im on femoston 1/10 but it csuses so much bloat and weightgain im dissapointed and after the 14 day progesterone my period was the heavyest ive ever had anyone else had this specially weightgain...i would go back on everel conti patches tomorow if i could ..x

Hi haven’t started Utrogestan as yet I’m told it can cause sedation that’s why doctors say to take at bedtime. Did you take it every 3 months

It depends on your age and whether you have had the menopause, but I had a Mirena coil fitted which helps to keep the uterus lining thin. With that I used Oestragel twice a day to start with then I had to drop it to once a day as I got older-I had HRT for over 30 years due to a haemorrhage in my 40's-Im now 77 and had to stop cold turkey a year ago as I had a Very early breast tumour, following an elective mammogram as I was past the age for the check up screening so it's vERY important to get your mammograms done!!
