Could someone advise, I had my bloods done and have come back with low calcium, I had a phone appointment and was told to supplement some calcium from the chemist, was not told which or dose to get, could someone advise

Hi

That’s pretty grim imo, since I’m guessing this is the first time you’ve been given the news of being calcium deficient.

If it’s not possible to have a further consultation with the gp for more in depth advice then I’d ask the pharmacist since they are really good . I’ve only been given calcium supplements that were prescribed , but a pharmacist could definitely advise on the right dose.
