I am on the contraceptive implant (the bar)

Hi I am on the bar and I am thinking of getting it removed I am experiencing awful acne and a low libido. I am now on antibiotics for 2 mons for my ance and have not noticed an improvement. I have had the bar on since June 2021, since july I was spotting for 3 mons and now have had no period since October. I am reluctant to get it out after going through all that with my period. any advice would be helpful thanks

Honestly, I nearly lost my job and my relationship because of the bar. I was sold it as the best thing since contraception was invented and it was sheer hell! I was either angry and exploding or in tears and inconsolable. I had constant bleeding and was utterly miserable. I told them either they removed it or I did. Within 48 hours of its removal I was back to normal and the bleeding had stopped. I don't actually know anyone who has had a good experience with it and my advice is to get it removed and look at other options. I've now got a copper coil and while loads of people don't do well with it, I have no issues.
