I started yesterday! In November I got the combined pill, that was horrible (hart palpitations, headache , dizzy, ears, short breath, hot flushes.. really all together) but I didn't know what it was.. end January i figured it out , asked to change to only progesteron. It was much better! Most side effects gone. Still exhausted and with headache. Tried mirena but my body pushed it out in 2 days, got a heavy bleeding. Back to progesteron I still have problems working due to side effects so since yesterday minipill. I already feel less tired so I'm optimistic. I also wonder what others have to say .

It has been one week on minipill. The first days I had a strong neck pain going from the base of the head to upper back. It got better little by little and now is almost gone. Further I have anxiety, I wake up at night thinking small problems are big and we are going to die.. this is new. Some panic moments during the day. No bleeding which I'm very happy about. All and all best pill so far .

Hi thanks for the update. I have to say that I have been experiencing a little heightened anxiety, sore boobs, and tiredness. No bleeding so far which is just what I was hoping for but we’ll see how I go on. Wishing you the best !

Hi.. it went wrong for me 😕 last Monday evening i started bleeding uncontrollably, huge clots. I went to emergency. My Hb was 6.5, coming from 7.5 so I really lost a lot of blood and I'm anemic again. I just got transexmic acid and kept the minipill. Then Wednesday again big bleeding.. emergency room. I got iron iv. So I change back to progesteron pill. Took transexmic acid 6 days and now back to spotting. I am very disappointed, I had big hopes on the minipill.

My experience years ago with mini pill caused ovarian cysts

Sorry to hear that. I’m actually worried that I have an ovarian cyst at the moment due to slight pain in my side. What symptoms did you experience if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve told my doctor about the pain and he didn’t say much about it. Thank you

I suffered with these after taking mini pill, had never had them before, mine were mainly on my left side, it would ache and even going to toilet no2 would put pressure on it, mine did dissolve but at one point one was quite large, any pressure towards rectum area such as wiping would hurt, even sitting, ache would also radiate down my thigh.
