Possibly not ovulating at 39

I seen the doctor last fall and we found I had atrophic vaginitis and I was concerned I was starting menopause or having some hormonal issues due to lots of strange symptoms. He did some blood work but he said that since I had my uterus removed it would not tell him much. I do still have my ovaries so I should still be ovulating.

I decided to get packs of ovulation test strips and so far there has been no indication of ovulation. I plan to continue using the strips for a few more months so the doctor can't say I messed it up some how. 39 seems awfully young.

🤔 This is known as a surgical menopause. If a hysterectomy leaves 1 or both of your ovaries intact, there's a chance that you'll experience the menopause within 5 years of having the operation. Although your hormone levels decrease after the menopause, your ovaries continue producing testosterone for up to 20 years.nhs.uk › ... › Hysterectomy

So my ovaries might be producing testosterone? I wonder if that would explain my weird symptoms.
