Need support regarding my period - endometriosis advice?

Hi all! This is my first time posting, I'm a newbie here!

Basically, I've been on my period for a month. I've got an appointment with my doctor on Friday so I'm not asking for a medical diagnosis or anything - BUT I was hoping that anyone who struggles with endometriosis might be able to give me some advice? I'm currently under investigation for endometriosis (been probably 5 years since I started seeing my doctor) and have had 2 US scans done in the past. I'm on the POP pill consecutively with no breaks so that I don't have periods anymore, which I've been doing for around 2 years now.

So as I said, I've been on my period for a month - it started off heavy, moved into medium spotting for about a week but now I'm back on heavy periods again with major blood clots. Has anyone else experienced this? I've had heavy periods before obviously as it's what started my diagnosis in the first place, but I've never been on for this long before nor have I ever had this many clots before! I'm hoping GP will send me for a procedure or something but I need someone to ease my mind before Friday...

I hope I have posted this all correctly as a first-timer lol!
