Negative for thrush and still suffering

I posted last week regarding recurrent thrush and had some really helpful and reassuring advice (thank you to those who replied). I've had my results back and they're negative for thrush! Also negative for various STIs that the doctor tested for. I'm still suffering and at my wits end as my symptoms first began at the beginning of the month. I still itch, have white discharge (sorry for TMI) and experience intermittent cramp like pain or sharp pains in my vagina/vulva area. I know these pains don't link with thrush, is there any infection they may link with? I'm wondering possibly bacterial vaginosis but I've never had it before and the main symptom flagged online is a smell which I don't have. I haven't been using any new products and have been with the same partner for 8 years and he has no symptoms. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thank you for reading.

😕 If your GP has run out of ideas, and you’re in constant pain and discomfort, it could be useful to ask to be referred to a Gynaecologist. We can hypothesis here, but you need definite answers.

I know, I'm so fed up of going round in circles. I'm going to ring tomorrow and ask for a referral but with Covid-19 itll take so much longer.

Did you mention Lichen Sclerosus to your doctor as many only have the itch as a symptom. Could try a hydrocortisone to see if helps with itch

I'm yet to speak to a doctor, my practice couldn't arrange a telephone consultation until this Saturday (I would've ideally wanted face to face but with coronavirus I'm thankful just for a phone call). I will mention it then, thank you for reminding me.

As it’s your vulva you should ask to be seen, they need to look at your vulva , the doctor might notice something you haven’t

I'm going to. My surgery don't seem concerned, they've been pinging me from nurse to nurse then to a GP then when my results came back negative nothing. I've been in tears on and off as I'm so anxious and distressed about what's going on or potentially going on down there. I feel completely alone. I've actually got in touch with a private gynaecology clinic as I feel completely alone and let down by my doctors (not bashing the NHS, they are wonderful).

I know a lot do go to private practices especially because the wait to see a specialist takes so long.

I feel like I have no choice but to go private. I just can't work out what's going on, I've never had any issues in this area until the start of September and I'm otherwise a healthy 25year old.
