Am I pregnant or is it a chemical pregnancy?

Hi I've had 4 miscarriages previously all under a year. Last one in June 2020.

I took a test today that has shown a positive pregnancy test. And I've done several more throughout the day, all the same result. The positive lines are rather light... But you can see them if you look properly... If you get what I mean?

Anyway, I must have caught with my ex on the first of this month.

However, between date of conception and today of taking the tests, I have actually had a 5 day period... So im confused.

I did think it was a phantom pregnancy, I still do if I'm honest. However, I have read on Google phantom pregnancies do not produce positive results on the tests.

Please help!

I'd suggest this is one for your doctor to do another test, to double check the result.

See your GP for a pregnancy test, it’ll put your mind at rest.

What are the symptoms of a chemical pregnancy?

A positive pregnancy test that can quickly turn negative.

Mild spotting a week before their period is due.

Very mild abdominal cramping.

Vaginal bleeding even after testing positive.

Low HcG levels if your doctor takes a blood test.
