Bv yeast infection or normal ?

Sorry this might be TMI!!! But Does anyone know if this is normal discharge or a yeast infection or bv or something? It has a weird smell kind of like fish or sweat sometimes and returns sometimes even an hour or so after I shower. It doesn’t itch or anything. This has been going on for a bit and I’m worried

It’s quite possibly bacterial vaginosis (there are over the counter treatments) but urine infections can also cause a fishy odour. See your GP for a definite diagnosis.

If your discharge changes – for example, in smell, colour or texture – it might be a sign of an infection.

Discharge Possible causes

Smells fishy bacterial vaginosis

Thick and white, like cottage cheese thrush

Green, yellow or frothy trichomoniasis

With pelvic pain or bleeding chlamydia or gonorrhoea

With blisters or sores genital herpes

Sometimes depending on where you’re at in your monthly cycle, your discharge can be thicker, and slightly different in colour. When it’s thicker and has a smell to it, it could be a sign of an infection. Perhaps visit your GP or sexual health clinic to do some tests for infection. Please don’t think I mean you have an STI when I say visit your sexual health clinic, they also do swabs for infections and are usually easier to get an appointment in rather than your GP!
