Cysts

Hi

I posted something a few days ago regarding pain on my right hand side near my hip during my period.

I called the doctor and she has made an appointment for a scan in two weeks as she thinks it’s a cyst on my ovaries.

Has anyone experienced this please ?

I have such bad anxiety, to the point that it gives me panic attacks .

Would I of been in more pain if it had ruptured really bad ?

Sounds like a difficult situation but I am glad to read that you have been referred for a scan. I have cysts on my ovaries which were diagnosed following an ultrasound.

I think it would be a good idea to speak to your GP again if you get any worsening of your symptoms. Mine are related to my menstrual cycle and are monitored but I've not had to have any treatment for them.

Thanks so much yes I’m thinking the same as it only happened during my period along with a migraine which I’ve been getting every month also .

Yes I wasn’t going to mention anything to the doctor but I was worried so I’m glad I’ve done it also .
