Mini Pill Advice re. Side effects

I have recently been put on the progestogen-only mini pill after 12 years of cycling the contraceptive implant (Nexplanon). I needed a contraceptive for a shorter period of time than the 3 years these last. My GP has a waiting list for the implant removal (has passed its 3 years expiry) so wanted to get me on a contraceptive until able to get me booked in. They have said the mini pill has the same hormone as the implant so should be the same as what I have been used to with the implant. However a week of taking it and I have minor headaches, can sense mood changes and am very lightheaded on standing. Did any one else experience this when they started taking the mini pill and did it improve?

I will of course speak to my GP but wanted to get some advice from the user/patient perspective. Thanks 😊
