🤔 I’ve taken Flunarizine to help with BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Posterior Vertigo) and found it helpful.

I also cope with a sensation of imbalance, but it’s largely linked to a different condition. Try to remember to stand, or turn, slowly. Sudden movements can so easily lead to falls.

I know when I have a bad episode I try to focus on one thing to look at. It lessens the dizziness.

Me too. That feeling of unbalance is very bad.

Yet I am feeling better.

Can we keep taking Betaserc as protection?

I am scared of having a vertigo.

Tip

Make sure you take the medicine (Betaserc 16)

At the same time 5' give a take.It works. The problem with unbalance got better.

I live in Cyprus so 05.30, 13.30 and 21.30 are convenient times for me.

Also do not take antihistamine drugs whiletaking Betaserc

I’m currently was on Betaserg 16 for 5 months for still ongoing dizzy spells, a side effect of these tabs are also dizzy spells so have dropped to 8mg 3x per day & feeling a little better

Hi I suffered really severe Vertigo attacks several years ago. I was on Serc tablets and another drug that I can't remember the name of. My doctor never recommended any alternative therapy, just dished out the drugs. I tried physiotherapy and it helped for a little while but not long term.Someone suggested acupuncture and I tried it as a complete sceptic, I would have tried anything as I was very poorly with it( I couldn't walk more than a couple of feet with falling or vomiting).

3 sessions of acupuncture and I saw a huge improvement. I keep going now regularly to try keep it at bay. Afraid to jinx myself but thankfully haven't had an attack of vertigo in three years.

Worth a shot to try, I know different things help different people, but I would recommend trying it. I would rather that than having to stay on medication. Wishing you the best of luck..
