I have been on Contraception (Cerazette now Desogestrel) for 10 years with no bleeding what so ever. On sunday I had tummy ache like period pain & on monday noticed brown. Since then it's been constant not loads but enough to wear a pad. My worry is I've never bled on this pill & now it's a brown bitty texture with the odd clot. I've emailed doctors & await reply but it still makes you worry. Anyone experienced this?

Hi, I have been on that same pill for about 6 months now and for the last month and a half I have been experiencing the exact same side affects as you when previously had no bleeding whatsoever. Just thought I’d leave a comment to know your not alone with this 🙂

Thank you, I've now been booked in for a smear as I was due one in a couple of months anyway. If that's clear then they with send for a scan to see if any cysts. Pending all that is clear then they will take me off it as they think it could just be reacting differently after all this time.
