Anyone experienced crushing fatigue when perimenopausal? Did you find anything that helped? I’m reducing my antidepressant gradually, now on 5mg of paroxtine from 10mg which I had been on for 2 years. Unsure, what’s causing my crushing fatigue - is it return depression, withdrawal of meds or possibly something else like menopause. The fatigue is making me very miserable. Any ideas please 😴😴

Has your GP checked your thyroid levels (a FULL thyroid panel of T4, T3, TSH and antibody tests)? Vitamins and minerals tests eg vitamin D, vitamin B12, folate, ferritin. All these can be wrong and give you those symptoms. Especially with thyroid, request the FULL thyroid tests.
Don't let drs tell you they are 'normal' results. Ask for a print out of them all. You're legally entitled to them and they can't charge you for them. They should be middle to top of the range for you to be well. All these things, and oestrogen are liked, all have an effect on one another.
If your GP won't do them , you can get a fingerprick test to do at home on Medichecks labs. They are excellent, and offer a wide variety of tests, and combinations eg their Thyroid Ultravit test
