Late period?

So for a little context: I am 30 years old and have had regular periods since I was 11. I have only ever been considerably late once, which I think was 1 week late. I was in a previous relationship where we didn't use birth control and used the pull out method and I only had the 1 pregnancy scare. Both my sister and brother have been unable to have children naturally which I'm not sure if is related but I always just assumed I would probably be unable to as well. I have been in a relationship with my fiance for 2 years, and was on the pill up until 4/5 months ago when I ran out just before we moved and was unable to get any more and have not gone back on them. He is aware of this. This month my period is currently 10 days late. We have regular sex, we do not use the pull out method. All online quizzes I have done indicate it is unlikely I am pregnant - I do not feel much different. I am experiencing possible period cramps, But I'm unsure. My eating habits have not changed, besides from being in lockdown I guess I snack more, but I don't feel sick or queasy. My energy levels are hard to detect as I have been feeling pretty tired for the duration of lockdown but again I'm not sure if that's just due to not doing anything all day. My breasts feel slightly larger and Fuller, my nipples are sensitive but there is no change in colour or appearance. I know the best way to tell would be a pregnancy test but with lockdown I haven't really wanted to add it to my shopping list and am currently planning on getting one when I am 2 weeks late. Has anyone had experience of this? I have not felt overly stressed lately, besides the 1st week I was off work due to lockdown, which was almost 3 weeks ago now so am unsure if this will have affected my period? I do not feel stressed currently. Any input of others experience would be greatly appreciated

You don't usually get any pregnancy symptoms that early on so not much point in ruling things in or out, only way is to get a test.

I think you best do a pregnancy test x

I think you're best to do a pregnancy test, however stress at the beginning of your cycle (before ovulation) is what causes a late period, so if you were stressed back then, that could be the cause.

Also if you only came off the pill 4-5 months ago, your cycle could still be settling. Pregnancytest is the only way to be sure really.

I know you say you've not been using the "pull out method" anyway, but I just wanted to add: this is not a good method of birth control anyway. Sperm can leak throughout, and there is a high risk of pregnancy with this method.

Absolutely need to do pregnancy test. Your 10 days late- very much sounds like you could be pregnant- you often don’t get pregnancy symptoms until the 4-6 week of pregnancy. In regards to you being on pill 4-5 months ago- then you would have been fertile again 4-5 months ago- your cycle doesn’t need time to settle after stopping pill (only method of contraception that can delay fertility returning is depo injection) hope that helps
