Is this heavy or normal?

I read online that you’re supposed to lose, on average, around 8 tablespoons of blood each period. What? Is this at all accurate? That’s how much I lose in the first hour of the first day... I lose about a liter over a 7 day span. Is that supposed to be odd?

Hi, that does sound a lot but there are so many variations of normal when it comes to periods. Every now and again I have a really heavy period and need to take iron tablets , might be worth consulting a Dr just to be sure , best of luck 💛
