Heavy Period

I’m on day 9 of a heavier period. I’ve had clots and even bleed through a couple tampons. I am on birth control. Someone mentioned maybe I’m pregnant? I honestly don’t think it’s possible since my period is so long and heavy. Could I be? Anyone else experience this?

Heavy bleeding that goes on for longer than it should needs a visit to the GP. Only you know what's normal for you, and if it's not normal, we can't really advise what you should do.

Yeah I would suggest going to the GP, periods shouldn’t really be more than a week and you shouldn’t bleed through multiple tampons in a matter of hours.

Went to my gyno today and she said everything was fine. Just a heavy period most likely from stress. Nothing to worry about. All tests came back great. Thanks for your replies!

There might be a couple of herbal remedies for that. Vervain and another herb dandelion root they have it in tea form. In fact the willow bark and marshmallow root was used in old time for help.

It usually takes me weeks to see my Gyn. Glad that’s all taken care of.
