😕Dee, I’m so sorry. I know you’re a member of a couple of other groups, but if you type ‘stroke’ in the search box (above right) you’ll see links to other support groups associated with Strokes 🙂

Wishing you all the best - although much older than you I had a stroke 2 years ago at 59 . I’ve been on blood pressure meds for a long time but something caused a spike the drs speculate heavy coughing fit and caused a left side ischemic stoke. I recovered very quickly thank God and had many tests done with cardiologist but so far all is well. I’m praying for you and wishing you a speedy recovery ❤️

Prayers. I had a stroke at the age of 43. I lost my speech and the movement of my right arm. I recovered very well. Just have faith and be patient when you do therapy. It will be baby steps. Any improvement is good. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
