Thoughts? Arm pain.

My left arm has been sore and hurts when I move it but not when I touch it. No other symptoms that I can think of. It has been going for three or four days now. I haven't done anything to cause it as far as I know. Nothing I do seems to help. I plan on seeing my doctor if it continues. Until then any help is appreciated. Now my neck is also hurting when moving.

There are so many potential causes. Sleeping funny on it, lifting something heavy, Lifting something badly, inflamed joint...

Is it a muscle pain or a bone pain? Is it the full length of your arm, or just a specific bit? Is it swollen or bruised in any way? Have you been moving stuff recently? Playing sports?

I'm not sure if it's muscle or bone, it's an aching pain. It's my left shoulder down to my elbow. No swelling or bruising as far as I can tell. I pick up my dog sometimes, but it's never bothered me before.
