Starting POP cerelle mini pill and started a period??

Hi I've just started the mini pill and missed one day. Now I've started having period cramping and woken up today with bleeding??! Is this normal? I'm so scared as I have HPV and abnormal cells (borderline) which they are supposed to be looking at next week. Really worrying.

Could the bleeding be because I've just started a new contraceptive? (From combined pill) and the fact I missed one pill? Many thanks for any replies xx
